Do you accept insurrance?

Yes, we accept all major commercial insurance, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Simply present your prescription benefits card when you bring in your prescription. Often, the insurance co-pay is the same no matter where you fill a prescription so come get great service and a speedy experience at A-1 Pharmacy.

How do I transfer my prescriptions to A-1 Pharmacy?

Transferring prescriptions is easy. Complete the Transfer Form (insert hyperlink to transfer form) or bring your prescription bottles to us and we’ll do all the work for you.

How can I get my medication if there is another hurricane?

Be prepared for an emergency by always refilling your medications timely to ensure that you have the proper supply on hand. If you have to evacuate, be sure to bring your prescription bottles with you. This will allow you to obtain an emergency refill in the area to which you evacuated until you can return.

My medicine is a different shape and color than before. Why is that?

As a discount pharmacy, we strive to provide the lowest prices for our customers. On occasion we may switch to a different drug manufacturer that sells the medication for a lower price which is why your medication may look different. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to verify that it is the correct medication.

How can I get a 90 day supply of my medication?

If you would like a 90 day supply of your maintenance medication, simply ask your doctor to write for a 90 day supply at your next doctor’s appointment.

What is a prior authorization and how will it affect my ability to get my medication?

Many insurance companies now require a prior authorization to determine if they will cover a medication prescribed by your doctor. If your medication requires a prior authorization, we will send the appropriate forms to your doctor to complete and send to the insurance company for approval. Response times from insurance companies vary.
